SHELL KNOB, Mo. --Parents of preschool children are invited to sign up for the coming school season at Noah's Ark Preschool.

Children receive a quality preschool education in a wholesome, Christian based atmosphere.

The three R's are introduced to children in a pleasant classroom setting. Wholesome daily snacks are provided. Parents of 3-, 4- and younger 5-year-olds may register for the fall season.

Younger 5-year-olds are those who are not eligible for elementary school because of the cut off date. Classes are scheduled three mornings a week, 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Special events are scheduled throughout the year including demonstrations by fire departments, paramedics, sheriff, library "story telling lady," dentist and more.

A big Christmas show and party, complete with Santa's visit, and a season-ending graduation party are exciting highlights. A school spokesperson stated, "Parents offer glowing testimony each year about the results they see in their children."

Noah's Ark is a community outreach program of Central Community United Methodist Church.

The church is located in Shell Knob on YY highway. Interested parents should visit the CCUMC office Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information, contact Preschool coordinator Cindy Koob, (417) 858-3278, or the CCUMC office, 858-6707.
