Hattie Ann Haines

HATTIE ANN HAINES, a resident of Hillcrest Home in Harrison, formerly of Green Forest, was born Nov. 11, 1906, in the Douglas Community near Green Forest, a daughter of Ernest elihu and Nora Edyth (McNemar) Norris. She died Thursday, May 19, 2005, in Harrison, at the age of 98.

Hattie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Green Forest Green Thumb Garden Club. She is survived by her step son, George Haines of Glasgow, Scotland; many cousins; other relatives; and a host of friends.

On Feb. 5, 1944, she was united in marriage with James Garnet Haines who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Nora Norris; a sister, Jo Marie Clark; and an infant brother, Raymond Norris.

Funeral services were held Saturday, may 21, 2005, at the Nelson's Green Forest Chapel with Rev. Billy Burris officiating. Interment was in the Norris Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Norris Cemetery Fund, c/o First National Bank, P.O.
