EDD GRISHAM, 82, of Green Forest, died April 2, 2005, at his home in Green Forest.
He was a son of Jim and Gertie Smith Grisham, born July 5, 1922, in Compton, Ark. He was a life-long farmer of dairy, beef, chicken and pigs. He was a member of Osage Baptist Church.
He married Sue Christian on Feb. 23, 1942, and helped raise Sue's two brothers, Bobby and Blake Christian. He was a life-long member and worker for the Democratic Party.
He was preceded in death by his wife; two sisters, Modena Roberts and Eula Oxford; and a brother, Olvey Buel Grisham.
He is survived by two sons, David and wife Connie Grisham of Alpena, and Gary and wife Sandy Grisham of Harrison; two daughters, Edna Kay and J.R. Maybee of Alpena, and Sarah and Randy Newman of Harrison; two sisters, Polly Turney of Harrison, and Agness Dillen of Harrison; and a brother, Roy Lee Grisham of Illinois; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Osage Baptist Church with Rev. Lannie Younger officiating. Burial was in Alpena Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Christenson Funeral Home of Harrison.
