Fred Peoples

FRED PEOPLES, 45, of Green Forest, died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, from injuries in an auto accident. Fred was born on March 4, 1959, in Arkon, Ohio, to the late Arthur Peoples and Maxine Mayfield Peoples Johnson.

Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and International Union of Operating Engineers #101 of Kansas City, Mo. He was united in marriage to Tracy Tanner on July 23, 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy, of the home; six sons, Tony Peoples and wife, Meg, and Brian Peoples, of Bentonville, Joseph Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Stuart Peoples and Freddy Peoples, all of Green Forest; two brothers, Joe Peoples, of Estes Park, Colo., and Kenny Peoples, of Pineville, Mo.; two sisters, Chris Peters, of Rogers, and Cindy Tripp, of Reno, Nev.; and one grandson. One sister, Carolyn Howard, and one infant brother, Thomas, preceded him in death.

Services will be today at 2 p.m. in Smith Family Chapel with Jeff Micheletto officiating. Burial will be in Auman Cemetery in Alpena by Smith Family Funeral Home of Green Forest.
