Week of Jan. 10

January 10

9:47 a.m. -- Subject taking driver test was arrested on Berryville warrant.

4:57 p.m. -- Anonymous caller reported a reckless driver on Hwy. 23 South. Vehicle was gone upon arrival.

5:26 p.m. -- Resident reported trucks blocking Linwood St. Officer spoke with one owner and stated trucks were to be moved.

7:03 p.m. -- CCSO requested assistance on domestic disturbance.

January 11

10:45 a.m. -- Subject arrested on local warrant.

11:30 a.m. -- Caller reported a large dog running in traffic. Animal had found its way back home before officer arrived.

2:30 p.m. -- Officer responded to a dog running loose on school grounds.

8:36 p.m. -- Caller reported a reckless driver coming into town on Hwy. 62. Subject was stopped and issued a citation for speeding.

9:57 p.m. -- Officer responded to caller's report of possible explosion, possible gunshots. Nothing found.

10:57 p.m. -- Incident report taken after a rock was thrown through vehicle window.

January 12

1:28 a.m. -- CCSO requested officer assistance with domestic incident.

4:23 a.m. -- Complainant reported a possible suspicious vehicle on East Mountain. Officer stated all was okay.

1:01 p.m. -- Incident report taken on car that had been "keyed" in high school parking lot.

4:31 p.m. -- Animal control officer responded to a report of a possibly sick black cat.

4:49 p.m. -- Officer and EMS requested at residence for ill person.

11:09 p.m. -- CCSO requested assistance for disturbance call on Stadium Road.

11:54 p.m. -- Complainant reported suspicious circumstances on Echols. No report required.

January 13

12:39 a.m. -- Resident reported a possible prowler on Emporia. Call deemed unfounded.

2:47 a.m. -- Caller requested a welfare check of Emporia resident. Subject found to be alright. Call deemed unfounded.

7:22 a.m. -- Neighbor called about lights on at business and that the owners were out of town. Officer stated owners had returned during the night.

2:20 p.m. -- Incident report taken on missing juvenile being treated at hospital. Subject was picked up and held for parent.

3:35 p.m. -- Officer requested to speak with subjects concerning the drainage of a motel's pool water onto highway. Officer spoke with subjects and stated they would drain the pool water into field.

4:28 p.m. -- Incident report taken on theft of property concerning tools missing from locked residence.

January 14

1:18 p.m. -- Jogger reported to patrol officer that a loose dog had acted aggressively towards her on Spring St. by Hillside. Owner of dog was located.

3:30 p.m. -- Another report of a small dog left outside on short leash without proper shelter made to police. Officer spoke with owner to resolve problem.

9:01 p.m. -- Multiple burglary alarms sounded at high school. Nothing found. Problem with system.

January 15

11:06 a.m. -- Incident report taken on theft at motel.

January 16

1:54 a.m. -- Traffic accident on Planer Hill resulted in arrest of intoxicated driver.

2:29 a.m. -- Accident report taken on unauthorized usage of above stated vehicle involved in incident.

3:43 a.m. -- Female caller stated she could hear another woman in the next motel room getting beat up.

5:46 p.m. -- An unfounded report was made concerning a patron that supposedly left without paying bill. Subject had paid tab.

There were seven non-emergency transfers this week.

January 10

10:36 a.m. -- Engine #1 and Squad #3 responded to a report of a smoking aerosol can in restaurant oven.

11:26 a.m. -- Engine #1 and Squad #4 responded to caller that smelled smoke in area. Responding units determined it was coming from a chimney.

7:18 p.m. -- Squad #4 responded to an intoxicated female subject that had fallen. Patient taken to ESH.

January 11

9:56 a.m. -- Squad #4 responded to an officer request to check driver that had possibly fallen asleep and struck mailbox with vehicle. Patient taken to ESH.

6:04 p.m. -- Squad #3 and Engine #1 responded to a fire alarm at high school. Nothing found.

January 12

9:26 a.m. -- Squads #3, #4 responded to an unresponsive female subject.

11:09 a.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a female subject with possible fracture. Patient taken to area hospital.

4:49 p.m. -- Squad #3 responded to officer request concerning female subject with mental problems. Patient taken to CRMC.

4:51 p.m. -- I.P. and Squad #4 responded to a report of an airplane on fire. Coroner requested.

8:14 p.m. -- H.I. and Squad #3 responded to a female subject possibly having an anxiety attack. No transport.

January 13

9:13 a.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a female subject having difficulty breathing. Patient taken to CRMC.

January 14

5:18 a.m. -- Squad #4 requested to assist with difficult retirement center resident wanting to go outside. No transport.

January 15

3:29 p.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a welfare check on subject. All was okay. No transport.

January 16

1:54 a.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a one-vehicle accident on Planer Hill. No transport.

8 a.m. -- H.I. and Squad #4 responded to a female subject that had fallen and had hip pain. Patient taken to CRMC.
