JUDSON S. TAYLOR, 58, of Gravette, Ark., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Sept. 17, 1946, in Metalton, Ark., the son of Opal Laverne Brown and James Albert Taylor.
He enjoyed hunting, gardening and his family. He moved to the Gravette area in 1980, moving from Berryville. He was a crew supervisor for 20 years with Carroll Electric Cooperative.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sharon Kay Taylor, of the home, whom he married Dec. 14, 1990, in Fayetteville; one son, Derek Taylor, of the home; one step-son, Backa Herring and his wife Dora of Berryville; three dauthers, Christy Kelley of Rogers, Amy Kelley of Fayetteville, and Gretchen Taylor of Bentonville; two brothers, Richard Taylor and his wife Sandy, of Dardanelle, Ark., Ernie Taylor and his wife Lorainee, of Berryville; four sisters, Wanda Walker and her husband Harley, of Huntsville, Shellia Langston and her husband Ronnie of Green Forest, Charlotte Curtis and Melissa Allen and her husband Dwayne, all of Berryville; three grandchildren and his mother and father-in-law, Pete and Margaret Goodart, of Avoca, Ark.
Funeral services were held at the Dean United Baptist Church in Dean on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, with Minister Dearl Wilson, Myles McDaniel, and Deborah McDaniel officiating. Interment followed at Dean Cemetery.
