OMAHA BORDER CLASSIC

Saturday, Nov. 27

Tigers vs Western Grove

11-16, 14-36, 20-59, 24-66

"We just had seven players," Coach Bill Niven said. "We started decently, then got in foul trouble. Zac Sutton and Cody Demeyer got quick fouls, and we just have two subs. I think Western Grove went at those two. The kids just ran out of gas."

Scoring- GF- Aaron Fitchue- 12, 2 3s; Demeyer- 4; Josh Dudley- 4; Kyle Kleffman- 3; Sutton- 1. WG- Engle- 22; Choate- 11.

Lady Tigers vs Western Grove

3-16, 14-30, 25-48, 30-61

An undefeated Lady Warrior squad that went deep into the playoffs last year had too much for many tired Lady Tiger players that had ridden all night returning from the football team's playoff at Nashville.

Tori Allen and LaRae Jones led the team with 8 points each, and nine girls scored, but there wasn't enough firepower to overcome a top team like Western Grove.

Scoring- GF- 8's- Allen, Jones; 3's- Phylicia Shelton, Danielle Camper, Chelsea Leathers; 2's- Danielle Villines, Keisha Fritz; 1's- Courtney Ruff, Haley Roney. WG- Shay Eddings- 20; Kelsey Smith- 13; Lindsey Hudspeth- 10.
