PAUL MARION PACE, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born April 24, 1933, in Big Spring, Texas, a son of William Joseph and Dottie Lonzora (Boozer) Pace. He died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, in his home at the age of 71.

Mr. Pace was an electrical engineer for Raytheon. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Berryville, where he served as a deacon, elder, and administrative assistant.

On Nov. 30, 1974, he was united in marriage with Elaine I. (Isgett) Pace, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by three sons, Wesley Pace and Linda Green of Hazlett, Texas, James Pace of Burleson, Texas, and Bret Pace of Austin, Texas; his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Michael Smart of Bethlehem, Penn.; six grandchildren, Ryan and his wife, Brandy Pace of Arlington, Texas, Lauren Pace of Burleson, Texas, Nicole Griggs-Pace of Austin, Texas, Tanya Jones of Hazlett, Texas and Kaitlyn Smart and Connor Smart both of Bethlehem, Penn.; two great-granddaughters, Maddison and Natalea both of Austin, Texas; many other relatives; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dottie Pace.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at the First Christian Church in Berryville with Rev. Paul Elliott and Rev. Pam Bolerjack officiating. Interment was in the Bolivar Cemetery, Sanger, Texas. Local arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church Piano Fund, P.O.
