September 6

7:42 a.m. -- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call at Locust Heights #22. All checked out OK.

8:20 a.m. -- Police responded to a dispute over a checkbook at Locust Heights #22. The issue was resolved.

10:50 a.m. -- Department officers provided traffic control at the Berryville Square and vicinity for the scheduled fair parade.

12:25 p.m. -- Police responded to complaint of vandalism at 910 Oakview. Two minors were caught and a report was taken.

2:35 p.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at LaBarge. The area was checked and all was OK.

2:51 p.m. -- Police responded to a complaint of loud music on Carter St. The subject was advised to turn it down.

5:10 p.m. -- Police stopped kids on bikes in Nelson's parking lot. Officer visited with kids.

5:30 p.m. -- Police responded to a complaint of an animal bite at the city park. A report was taken.

6:02 p.m. -- Police assisted EMS with a medical emergency at Locust Heights #21.

7:06 p.m. -- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call at 604 Cedarvale. All checked out OK.

7:24 p.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at Williams Tractor. All checked out OK.

8:54 p.m. -- A juvenile was reported shoplifting at Price Cutter. An officer responded but no prosecution was desired due to young age of subject.

September 7

12:04 p.m. -- Complaint of a reckless driver inbound from west on U.S. 62 west of city limits. The red and white motorcycle was not located.

2:04 p.m. -- A report was taken on a stolen cell phone.

3:32 p.m. -- Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic accident on U.S. 62 near Auto Zone. A report was taken and one driver was ticketed for no driver's license.

4:00 p.m. -- A person was reported on the highway on 21 S. The subject was not located.

4:28 p.m. -- A two-vehicle accident was reported at Springfield-Spalding. There were no injuries and a report was taken.

7:18 p.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at Williams Tractor. All checked out OK.

September 8

3:15 a.m. -- Police responded to the area of Exxon on complaint of driver fleeing. Male subject ran through a fence and and was arrested at College and Chafin St.

7:39 a.m. -- Police assisted a female subject who had fallen at 403 E. Freeman. The subject was helped up and all was OK.

3:10 p.m. -- Police responded to a complaint of an adult female shoplifter at Auto Zone. Subject was cited into court on theft and arrested on a warrant.

5:45 p.m. -- A duck with fishing line around it was reported at George's Pond.The duck was located and OK.

6:45 p.m. -- Complaint of a reckless driver at Country Court. A report was taken.

8:54 p.m. -- Police responded to a complaint of kids playing at an abandoned house at 810 High St. The kids were gone upon arrival.

September 9

8:20 a.m. -- Officer responded to a complaint of vandalism at 800 E. College. A report was taken.

11:55 a.m. -- Report of a reckless driver at Wal-Mart. Police made negative contact.

1:28 p.m. -- A report was taken from a subject with a complaint.

4:57 p.m. -- Police arrived at the Shamrock Motel on warrant service. An adult male was arrested on warrant.

10:44 p.m. -- Police responded to complaint of someone trying to start a fight at Pizza Hut. It was determined to be unfounded.

September 10

12:35 a.m. -- A report was taken on a theft of a wallet at 107 E. Freeman.

12:45 p.m. -- Police responded to a request to contact subject at 101 Westview over a civil matter. Officer spoke to both sides.

4:48 p.m. -- Police accompanied a mother in locating a runaway juvenile at 1225 E. College. The daughter was located and turned over to mom.

5:02 p.m. -- Complaint of a suspicious subject on Hailey Road. Officer checked and all was OK.

8:21 p.m. -- Police responded to a complaint of slashed tires at 309 S. Main. Subject was arrested.

10:40 p.m. -- Officer patrolling Davis-Barr located two people looking at vehicles. All was OK.

10: 48 p.m. -- Police were requested to deliver a message to Tyson's. Message delivered.

September 11

1:51 a.m. -- Police were dispatched to 601 Wren on domestic disturbance. Subjects were separated for the night.

7:08 a.m. -- Police responded to 215 Phillips regarding an explosion and power outage. Entergy was notified.

9:28 a.m. -- Police responded to Locust Heights #21 and assisted EMS with an elderly woman on the floor. All was OK.

11:50 a.m. -- Police responded to an alarm at 1st National Bank of Green Forest, Berryville Branch at 812 W. Trimble. All checked out OK.

12:15 p.m. -- Officer assisted EMS with two subjects suffering heat exhaustion at the lower elementary cross country meet.

12:40 p.m. -- Police responded to a medical emergency at Locust Heights #21. Subject was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

2:58 p.m. -- Police responded to a complaint of a traffic accident and subject leaving the scene at Wal-Mart. A report was taken.

4:38 p.m. -- A bike was found at Murray's Arcade. Police located the owner and returned the bike.

6:32 p.m. -- A report was taken on a delayed battery complaint which occurred on Sept. 10.

7:54 p.m. -- Police responded to a loud music complaint at 602 Del Norte. Subject was contacted and advised to turn down the music.

September 12

1:22 p.m. -- Police responded to complaint of nails spilled on U.S. 62 at Williams Shopping Center. Approximately 1,000 screws were picked up and the roadway was cleared.

1:54 p.m. -- Officer assisted EMS with an elderly woman with a possible heart attack at 510 N. Springfield.

3:45 p.m. -- Police responded to complaint of intoxicated subject at Berryville Pawn. Subject was located on Campbell St. and agreed to stay inside.

3:51 p.m. -- Police responded to a possible domestic dispute at Carroll County Sheriff's Office. Officer talked to both sides and issue was resolved.

7:31 p.m. -- Officer responded to complaint of a dog on U.S. 62 at Castle Pawn causing vehicles to swerve. The dog was not located.

7:31 p.m. -- A pit bull was reported loose in the area of Lynn St. The dog was gone upon arrival.

8:10 p.m. -- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call at Wal-Mart. It was found that small children were playing with the phone and all was OK.

8:38 p.m. -- Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic accident on U.S. 62 at Berryville Veterinary Clinic. One driver arrested for DWI.

9:40 p.m. -- Police were notified of a possible child abuse victim in St. John's ER. Police checked and it was unfounded.

10:12 p.m. -- Police responded to a traffic accident at Good Times Pizza. A report was taken.
