Dennis E. Webb

DENNIS E. WEBB, 82, a resident of Farmington, formerly of Rudd, died Aug. 10, 2004, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 4, 1921, in Rudd, Ark., a son of John Roy and Della May (Fultz) Webb.

Mr. Webb was a member of the Metalton United Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He was a poultry, dairy and beef farmer.

On July 4, 1944, he was united in marriage with Margie Ruth (Phillips) Webb who survives him. He is also survived by three sons, Jerry Webb, and his wife Brenda, of Farmington, Randall Webb of Fayetteville, and Randy Webb of Green Forest; one brother, Eugene Webb, and his wife, Faye, of Berryville; two sisters, May Phillips and her husband, Clyde Ray, of Green Forest, and Dorothy Plumlee and her husband, Junior, of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren, Daniel Webb and his wife, Janet, Kris Webb and his wife, Jamie, Sarah Webb and Lisa Webb; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Webb and Grace Webb; several other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Danny Webb; one grandson, Jerry Webb Jr.; five brothers, Robert, Marvin, Carl, Rex and Bill Webb; and one sister, Mattie Howerton.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at the Gobbler Church with Rev. Jerry Spurlock officiating. Interment will follow in the Gobbler Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
