King of Kings Camp Meeting starts July 10; new fellowship building up

King of Kings Camp Meeting 2004 will be held July 9-17 at the King of Kings Campground, located between Green Forest and Denver near the old Center Point community.

Daytime services will be held at 10 a.m. July 10-17, and gospel singing will get underway each night at 6 p.m., with worship following at 7 p.m.

A tentative schedule of night speakers includes evangelist Dereck Stennett, of West Fork, on July 9; Russellville Assembly of God Pastor Roy Chisum on July 10; evangelist Allen Smith on July 11; Fallingwater Church Pastor Lester Chisum on July 12; Capps Full Gospel Church Pastor Eddie Reed on July 13; evangelist Arlis Burks on July 14; Arvin Adams and Lighthouse Messengers on July 15; Hector Assembly of God Pastor Dean Caldwell on July 16; and evangelist Mark Ragsdale on July 17.

Free camper hook-ups and water and electric are available at the campgrounds, and a new fellowship building has been added.

For most of Carroll County, persons can get to the campgrounds by taking U.S. Highway 62 to Green Forest, turn north on Highway 311 and go five miles to Farewell, turn right, then left on County Road 814 (Denver Road), drive 2.5 miles to County Road 808, turn right and drive two miles. The campground will be on the left.

From extreme eastern Carroll County and points north, persons can take U.S. Highway 65 to Burlington, turn west on County Road 811 (Denver Road), drive six miles to County Road 814, turn right and drive 1.5 mile to CR 808, and turn left and go two miles to the campground on the left.
