He was born Sept. 26, 1926, in Conner, Ark., the son of Joseph and Mary Fancher. At an early age, he moved to Berryville, where he lived until moving to Fayetteville in 1967.
He married Peggy Newman in February 1954. Frank was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired district manager of Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; two sons, Brian and wife Diana of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Tracy and wife Tana of Mountain Home, Ark.; three grandchildren, Brian, Brianna and Kendall; and a sister, Helen Epperson of Berryville.
Graveside services were held Thursday, April 22, 2004, at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville with the Chaplain Paul Woodhouse officiating under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville.
