Bobcat bats, Tiger errors the key in 10-1 final score
The Green Forest Tigers hosted the Berryville Bobcat baseball team on Monday, and proved to be too good a host, allowing 14 hits while committing seven errors in a 10-1 loss.
The game was close in the fourth inning, but the Bobcats racked up seven runs in the final two innings to take the win.

"There's not much to say with seven errors," Coach Tony Coffey said about the Tigers, who fell to 4-8 overall, 2-6 in league play.
Berryville coach Tracy Jones said, "We showed up flat and slow, and didn't show up until the third inning. But we played good defense and didn't have many errors.
"The key to the game was in the fourth inning when Randall Rizzolla squeezed in Henry Adams with a bunt with the bases loaded. It was 2-1 at that point, and that made it 3-1 and gave us some breathing room."
Berryville moved to 6-6 overall, 6-1 in league play.
Tigers- Brett Conner went 5 innings, allowing 8 walks, 1 strikeout, 4 hits, a home run, with 4 earned runs. A.J. Buckner finished, with 1 walk, 4 hits, and 2 earned runs. Catcher C.J. Matthews had two assists, throwing runners out at second and third.
Bobcats- Steven Trulove went six innings, with 7 strikeouts, 1 walk, and 1 earned run. Heath Neal finished, with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk. Neal also had two assists on throwouts.
