Ethel L. Fancher
Etheyl L (Cox) Fancher, age 82 of Harrison, Arkansas, died on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at her home in Harrison.
Funeral services were held, April 3, at Holt Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Smith officiating. Burial was in Maplewood Cemetery.
She was born May 6, 1921 near Harrison, a daughter of Dewey and Mary (Wright) Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harley R. Fancher, Sr., who passed away in March of 1991.
She was a school teacher at Delmar and Osage for a number of years, then afterwards she farmed near Berryville for many years until retirement. She then moved back to Harrison ---- her birthplace.
Survivors are her son, Harley Fancher, Jr., and daughter-in-law Diann Fancher of Harrison; her two grandchildren, Jennifer "Jenny" and her husband, Chris Elsberry of North Little Rock, and Harley R. "Trey" Fancher, III, and his fiance' Wendy Carroll of Conway; her only sister, Norma Helen "Shorty" Hall; a niece, Helen Bill Harmon; a great nephew, Robert Charles Hunsaker and his son, Dakota Hunsaker; and a niece, Kathy Kirk, all of Harrison; and her very special friend, Tom Johnson, also of Harrison. She is also survived by many other family members who she also loved.
Etheyl was a wonderful wife, mom, grandmother and friend who has left her footprints in the sands of time. To heaven, travels one of the greatest.
