Roy Horton

ROY HORTON, a resident of Blue Eye, Mo., was born April 16, 1931 in Oak Grove, a son of Thomas Hastin and Earsley (Rogers) Horton. He died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Harrison, at the age of 72.

Mr. Horton was a member of the Bowman Pentecostal Church and was a logger.

On March 24, 1951 he was united in marriage with Wanda (Williams) Horton, who survives him. He is also survived by a daughter, Kathy Gratias of Harrison; three brothers, Doyle Horton of Berryville, Roger Horton of Berryville, and Jack Horton of Green Forest; two sisters, Wilma DeLong of Lampe, Mo., and Patsy Keys of Omaha; five grandchildren; one great-grandson, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant brothers, one niece and one nephew.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. this Saturday, March 20, 2004, at the Bowman Church with Rev. Raymond Lassiter and Rev. Freddy Blevins officiating.
