CURTIS EUELL "CURT" LAWS, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born May 25, 1939 in Corpus Christi, Texas a son of Eugene and Nola Mae (Carter) Laws. He died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 in his home at the age of 64.

Mr. Laws was a veteran having served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam Conflict. He attended the Nazarene Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #66 in Berryville.

On August 5, 1986 he was united in marriage with Althea Sutherland who survives him. He is also survived by a son, Curtis Laws, Jr. of Texas; four daughters, Tammy Swindall of Texas, Christi Bounds of Texas, Kelly Laws of Texas and Germanine Laws of Berryville; one brother, Hugh Laws of Texas; two sisters, Patsy Winters of Minnesota and Louise Henage of Washington and four grandchildren;

He was preceded in death by a sister, and his parents.

Memorial services were held Thursday, March 4, 2004 at the Nazarene Church in Berryville with Pastor Herb Berkley officiating. Cremation arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
