Earl R. Eoff

EARL RICHARD EOFF, 54, of Kingston, died Jan. 16, 2004, at his home. He was born Sept. 25, 1949, in Kingston, the son of W. Dennis and Mary Ruth Bowen Eoff.

He had retired in 2001 as foreman for the Madison County Road and Bridge Department. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war, serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the Lower Campground Church and American Legion Post #230 at Kingston, where he served as adjutant for over 20 years.

He was a graduate of Kingston High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ellis Dale Eoff, and one sister, Wanda Maxine Eoff.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Mary Hutchens Eoff of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Michele Fierro of Low Gap, Ark.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Christine Eoff and Angela and Kenny Riley, all of Kingston; one brother, Delano "Maine" Bowen of Springdale; three sisters, Janice Ponder of Witter, Anice Bunch of Kingston, and Diana Griggs of Dean; five grandsons and two granddaughters.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 21, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Pastor Denver Cochran and Pastor Donnie Villines officiating. Interment was in the Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Military honors were provided by the United States Army.
