Jim McNutt

JIM McNUTT, a resident of Berryville, was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Russellville, a son of James Warren and Gertrude Mae (Davis) McNutt. He died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, in Berryville at the age of 69.

Mr. McNutt was retired from the state of Oklahoma Health Department and was of the Baptist faith.

On June 30, 1954, he was united in marriage with Kay (Wilson) McNutt, who survives him. He is also survived by three daughters, Jamelia and her husband Tom Michel of Comanche, Okla., Jana Rene and her husband Don Turner of Bremerton, Wash., Jenneta Rahe and her husband Johnny Conover of Aurora, Colo.; two sons, Jay R. McNutt of Bull Shoals, and James Randal and his wife Brenda McNutt of Duncan, Okla.; one sister, Mildred Maddox of Elk City, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and a great-grandchild.

A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2004, in his home in Berryville. Cremation arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
