Glenn B. Head
GLENN B. HEAD, 85, of Marble, died Dec. 27, 2003, at his home. He was born Oct. 16, 1918, at Marble, the son of Frank Willie and Anna Elizabeth Doty Head.
He had retired from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department after more than 20 years of service. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the United States Army. He was awarded four bronze stars for his service in Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe. He was preceded in death by one stepson, Donald Wayne Frederick.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby M. Yarbrough Head of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Anna Loftin of Lowell, Ark.; one brother, Lloyd Head of Bellflower, Ark.; one sister, Myrna Smith of Bryant, Ark; one grandson, Jarred Head of Marble; and two granddaughters, Kim Shultz of Oviedo, Fla. and Kristy Woods of Harrison.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Dearl Wilson and Rev. Glen Faulkner officiating. Interment followed in the Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
