Gene Goss

GENE FRANKLIN GOSS, a resident of Green Forest, was born Aug. 4, 1934, in the Elixar community of Boone County, a son of John and Virgie (Curtis) Goss. He died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2003, in Green Forest, at the age of 69.

Mr. Goss was a farmer.

In 1953, he was united in marriage with Loretta (Kaler) Goss, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Garey and his wife, Colleen Goss of Bremen, Ga., and Steve and his wife, Ann Goss of Green Forest; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Virgie Goss.

Memorial funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, in the Norris Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Spurlock officiating. Arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
