Nickie Ray Warren
NICKIE RAY WARREN, a resident of Fayetteville, was born Jan. 1, 1960, in Berryville, Ark., a son of James C. and Vellamae (Doss) Warren. He departed this life Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, in Fayetteville at the age of 43.
A 1978 graduate of Berryville High School, he attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for five years, graduating in 1994. He was a landscaping architect, owning Outdoor Spaces Inc. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including water sports, hiking and canoeing. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Chavez) Warren; his father, James C. Warren of Berryville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Debra Warren, Sam and Lora Warren, and Steve and Janett Warren, all of Berryville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Athena and Steve Treat of Huntsville, Ark., and Cynthia and Charlie Chappell of Berryville; eight nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vellamae Warren; and his niece, Tearsa Warren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Luke George officiating. Interment was in the Farmer Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
