JAMES EASTEP, a resident of Green Forest, was born April 27, 1943, in Compton, Ark., a son of Denver and Lottie Lorene (Eoff) Eastep. He died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, in Berryville, at the age of 60.
Mr. Eastep was a farmer. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
On Nov. 22, 1965, he was united in marriage with Nancy Jean (Ford) Eastep who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his son, Michael Eastep of Grove, Okla.; two daughters, Deborah Elliott and Charlotte Eastep both of Green Forest; two sisters, Linda McGarrah of Forum, Ark., and Sue Bilderback of Springdale, Ark.; his mother, Lottie Eastep of Compton; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Denver Eastep; his sister, Irma Sams; and two brothers, Jr. Eastep and Boyd Eastep.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at the Zion Hill Church in Green Forest with Rev. Kelsey Villines and Rev. Faron Cook officiating.
