Harlan D. Price
HARLAN D. PRICE, 97, of Medina, Kan., died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003. He was born Sept. 17, 1906, in Pittsburg, Kan.
He attended Pittsburg State University and Kansas State Teachers College and was an elementary school principal in Rantoul, Ill.
He had been a member of United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs, the Illinois Teachers Association and the Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Ruth (Myers) Price; two daughters, Shirley Robinette of Medina, and Jan Griffin of Denver, Colo.; three sons, Ronald A. Brandon of Carbondale, Ill., John D. Price of Sedona, Ariz., and William D. Brandon of Logan, Ohio; one brother, Ralph G. Price of Woodbridge, Va.; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siters, Harlene and Anna, brother John and one son, Ralph Brandon.
Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at the Inn of Medina Chapel with Dr. David Tennant officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Pittsburg.
