Mr. Bell was a farmer. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Mr. Bell was a veteran, having served with the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by three sons, Eugene Bell of Alpena, Earnie Lee Bell of Everton, Ark., and J.C. Bell of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Daisy Jean Powell of Green Forest, and Betty Jane Turnbough of Springdale, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In 1941, he was united in marriage with Eva (Bearden) Bell who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Bee and Mellie Bell; and two brothers, Bryant Bell and Henry Bell.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at the Osage Baptist Church with Rev. Lannie Younger officiating. Interment followed in the Plumlee Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be made to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
