RUTH E. BLUNDON, a resident of Huntsville, Arkansas, was born Nov. 25, 1914, in Oakville, Wash., a daughter of Earnest Alfred and Thelma Bertha (Brown) Loerscher. She died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, in Huntsville at the age of 88.

Mrs. Blundon was a cook. She was of the Lutheran Faith.

On September 16, 1935, she was united in marriage with Ralph T. Blundon who survives her. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Doris M. and Len McLoud of Kingston, Ark.; her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Brook Blundon of Beverton, Ore.; two brothers, Harley and his wife, Lola Loerscher of Shelton, Wash., and Earnest Loerscher of Elma, Wash.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Thelma Loerscher; two brothers, Rudy Loerscher and Bernard Loerscher; two grandsons, Gary Kelley and Vance Kelley; and one granddaughter, Allison Blundon.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at the Dean United Baptist Church. Cremation arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
