Funeral services for Jessie Durbin Taylor, 65, formerly of Walters, Oklahoma, were conducted at the Church of the Nazarene in Walters, Wed., May 28, with Rev. Paul Metcalfe officiating. Burial was in the Walters Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home.
Jessie May (Durbin) Calfy was born to Frederick Henry and Zelma Marie (Calfy) Durbin on Sept. 7, 1937, at Walters, and departed this life at Cache, Oklahoma, on May 24, 2003.
Jessie May grew up at Walters. She married Donald Duane Webb and to this union three children were born.
They lived in the Ft. Hood, Texas area and then in California before settling in Green Forest. Mr. Webb preceded her in death.
She later married Jesse Taylor on Feb. 15, 1986, at Reed Springs, Missouri. They made their home in Berryville for many years until returning to Oklahoma in March due to ill health and to be near her family. She enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Jessie May was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Hill, and her father, Fred Durbin.
Survivors include: her husband Jesse Taylor of Berryville; her mother Zelma Durbin of Walters; her daughter Constance Jeanine Crow of Temple, Oklahoma; two sons Richard Lee Webb of Temple and Jesse Duane Webb of Berryville; three sisters, Rose Latscher and Molly Womack Brous, both of Cache, and Carmen Estavez of Walters; five brothers, Sammy Durbin, Fred Durbin, Walt Durbin, Larry Durbin, and Terry Durbin, all of Oklahoma, plus six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren in addition to other relatives and many friends.
