Week of July 14

July 14

5:10 p.m. ---- Police were notified by the sheriff's office that a driver of a red Jeep with Missouri tags was thought to be intoxicated.

5:11 p.m. ---- Police patrolled the east city limits and initiated a traffic stop of the suspected intoxicated driver. The subject was taken to the police department for a breathalyzer test and returned to his vehicle afterwards. Police say the subject was on prescription medication and was advised to go home.

7:15 p.m. ---- Police initiated a traffic stop for loud music.

8:30 p.m. ---- Police were dispatched to the police department to take a report.

July 16

1:34 a.m. ---- Police were dispatched to a Tharp Street home to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. The altercation was verbal only.

7:15 a.m. ---- Police went to a Forest Court apartment to transported a wanted subject to jail.

4 p.m. ---- Police went to a Cherry Street location to investigate a report of residential burglary.

July 18

10:54 a.m. ---- A subject who appeared in city court was transported to jail after authorities found out that the person was wanted on a Berryville warrant.

10:30 p.m. ---- The K-9 officer and his drug dog were dispatched to the M&S Apartments to investigate a strange smell. Everything was okay.

11:12 p.m. ---- Police went to a Cherry Street home to deliver a message.

July 19

3:40 a.m. ---- Police were dispatched to Tyson Foods. Police advised complainant to contact the sheriff's office.

7:40 a.m. ---- Police were dispatched to a Phillips Street apartment for a welfare concern.

8:20 a.m. ---- Police went to the Tyson parking lot to look for a vehicle.

6:19 p.m. ---- Police were dispatched to a Walnut Street location to investigate a loud music complaint. Police were unable to locate loud music.

6:56 p.m. ---- Police transported a subject to jail

7:15 p.m. ---- Police were dispatched to a South Arch Street location for a medical emergency.

8:49 p.m. ---- Police checked an abandoned vehicle at the football field.

9 p.m. ---- Police provided a motorist assist near Automatic Castings.

9:03 p.m. ---- Police were dispatched to the intersection of Walnut and White streets to investigate a loud music complaint.

9:05 p.m. ---- Police were dispatched to an Eighth Street location to investigate a suspicious person complaint.

July 20

12:15 a.m. ---- Police were dispatched to a Walnut Street location to investigate a report of a man outside with a possible gun. The suspect was gone when police arrived. Authorities spoke with the complaint, checked the area, and promised extra patrol.

6:32 a.m. ---- Police were dispatched to Sonic for an alarm call. An employee had tripped the alarm. Everything was okay.

6:15 p.m. ---- Police were dispatched to a North Arch Street location to investigate a possible domestic disturbance. The parties were separated.

Also during the evening, police were with a complainant at the police department, went to a Third Street home for a domestic that was verbal only, and went to a Thorne Street residence for a domestic disturbance.

8:30 p.m., July 15 ---- The GFFD assisted Oak Grove firefighters with a truck fire on Hwy. 103 North.

3:25 a.m., July 16 ---- The GFFD responded to a medical emergency on County Road 737.

7:33 p.m., July 19 ---- The GFFD responded to a medical emergency on South Arch Street.

8:30 p.m., July 15 ---- The OGFD responded to a truck fire on Hwy. 103 North.

Alpena Fire Department

June 28 ---- The AFD/First Responders went to a house fire on Ayers Road. It was a grease fire with smoke damage only.

June 28 ---- The AFD/First Responders went to a tree fire on Long Creek Road.

July 2 ---- The AFD/First Responders went to a possible truck fire on Hwy. 412. Nothing was found.

July 5 ---- The AFD/First Responders went to a hay baler fire on Hwy. 62 East.

July 13 ---- The AFD/First Responders went to medical a medical emergency on Hwy. 65. One person was transported to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.

July 14 ---- The AFD/First Responders went to a motor vehicle accident on Sandflat Road. Two people were transported to NARMC.

July 14 ---- The AFD/First Responders went to a possible stabbing on Green Hill Road. One person was transported to NARMC.
