Week of May 23

May 23

10:10 a.m. -- Accident report taken after street sweeper hit bumper of vehicle.

11:58 a.m. -- Driver reported being tailgated by a red passenger vehicle. Officer made contact with driver of vehicle.

1:41 p.m. -- Offense report taken on damage done to parked vehicles in lot.

8:01 p.m. -- Spring St. merchant reported loud and excessive revving downtown.

10:43 p.m. -- Resident reported she was unable to sleep due to "living hell" created by loud motorcycle noise. Officer reported he did not observe any excessive noise.

11:09 p.m. -- Welfare concern check requested on subject slumped over his car at gas station. Officer reported subject was just sleeping and was okay.

11:55 p.m. -- Officer advised of a vehicle sideswiping another vehicle on the highway and not stopping. Officer located and stopped vehicle. During the stop the officer located a controlled substance in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for possession and DWI charges.

May 24

1:25 a.m. -- Caller reported a vehicle driving slowly and swerving off the road and had crossed the double yellow several times. Officer stopped vehicle and the driver was arrested on DWI charges.

2 a.m. -- Clerk reported a suspicious vehicle driving by hotel continuously. Officer advised he would patrol area over night.

8:23 a.m. -- Officer retrieved left property at business on Spring St.

12:24 p.m. -- Complainant reported threats. Incident report taken.

2:16 p.m. -- Officer requested for traffic control on a stalled vehicle on Planer Hill that was blocking traffic. Tow truck called.

3:56 p.m. -- Offense report taken on incident that occurred during the night.

4:27 p.m. -- Officer requested in reference to a property dispute on Passion Play Road. Officer advised it was a civil matter and subjects left.

5:53 p.m. -- Caller reported an illegally parked vehicle causing traffic problems. Vehicle towed.

8:51 p.m. -- Accident report taken on leaving the scene incident.

8:53 p.m. -- Accident report taken on minor incident at convention center.

9:51 p.m. -- Officer requested in reference to an incident reported by patron.

11:22 p.m. -- Caller reported suspicious males around equipment at sewer project on Benton St. Officer reported subjects were walking to there vehicle.

May 25

12:06 a.m. -- Caller reported two male subjects tampering with a no parking sign on Spring St. Officer located subjects and advised them to leave the area and leave signs alone.

12:46 a.m. -- Officer reported seeing a suspicious male in parked vehicle on White St. Officer reported owner of vehicle had given the subject permission to be there.

12:30 p.m. -- Male subject arrested for domestic battery, third degree after officer responded to domestic disturbance on Deer Lane.

12:47 p.m. -- Intrusion alarm sounded at auditorium. Officer requested for walk-through.

1:49 p.m. -- Accident report taken on two vehicle incident in front of bank.

3:46 p.m. -- Green and silver Dodge pickup blocking Linwood. Vehicle issued citation and towed.

4:59 p.m. -- Incident report taken on assault at business.

7:44 p.m. -- Spring St. business owner reported two motorcycles revving their engines. Officer reported motorcycles gone upon arrival.

8 p.m. -- Concerned caller reported a subject with a small child riding in the street on a 4-wheeler. Officer spoke with parents and subjects on 4-wheeler.

9:09 p.m. -- Officer requested to respond at business in reference to a possible fight about to start. Officer reported it was a minor altercation and problem had been resolved.

10:39 p.m. -- Hotel employee reported four subjects trying to fight him. Problem was resolved and subjects had left.

May 26

6:21 a.m. -- Accident report taken on a vehicle that looked like it had been struck during the night. Caller stated he had heard incident and saw offending vehicle leave. Both vehicles found and towed.

12:19 p.m. -- Visitor reported his vehicle was broken into overnight. Offense report taken.

12:28 p.m. -- Spring St. business owner reported hearing revving motorcycles since 8 a.m. Chief Hyatt stated he and patrol officers were downtown all morning and never observed or heard any noisy vehicles in the area.

6:52 p.m. -- Officer responded to a fight in parking lot. Subjects gone upon arrival.

7:18 p.m. -- Traffic stop resulted in an arrest of a drunk driver.

8:43 p.m. -- Caller reported hearing a loud motorcycle on Main St.

May 27

12 a.m. -- Officer checked out suspicious person at closed business. Subject was arrested for felony warrants.

3:19 a.m. -- Benton St. resident reported a noise complaint. Incident report taken.

6:59 a.m. -- Officer responded to a report of two subjects sleeping behind auto parts store.

3:06 p.m. -- Incident report taken after vehicle hit grocery store building and left scene.

3:26 p.m. -- Offense report taken after vehicle passed school bus.

May 28

6:45 a.m. -- Incident report taken on assault.

11:36 a.m. -- Several calls were received in reference to a vehicle/pedestrian incident at Spring and Main. EMS responded but subject did not want transport or to file a report.

4:40 p.m. -- Accident report taken on leaving the scene incident at the medical park.

11:04 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of a woman screaming on North Main. Officer reported all was alright.

May 29

12:02 a.m. -- Inn employee reported a suspicious person staying at business. Subject was asked to leave and he complied.

1:13 a.m. -- Officer recontacted subject mentioned above after he received a driver's license photo showing a different person. Subject was arrested on misdemeanor charges and a felony warrant out of Kansas.

7:28 a.m. -- CCSO reported a black Cadillac with California license driving recklessly on Hwy 62 East towards E.S. Tag returned to a different vehicle.

12:57 p.m. -- High school employee reported a female student got into a white Ford Probe with a male driver at lunch time and had not returned.

3:53 p.m. -- Accident report taken after vehicle hit parked car in lot.

4:12 p.m. -- Officer responded to a report of subjects having a disturbance in street.

5:30 p.m. -- Spring St. merchant reported loud motorcycles. Officer found no problems.

6:30 p.m. -- Incident report taken on harassing communications to resident on Armstrong.

11:48 p.m. -- Resident reported loud motorcycles on Mountain St.

May 30

12:12 a.m. -- Property owner requested assistance with tenant on Summit. Incident report taken.

1 a.m. -- Convenience store clerk reported subject left without paying for his food. Officers stopped subject and he paid his bill.

10:40 a.m. -- Caller that refused to be identified complained of motorcycles "roaring up and down Spring St. and wanted to know if we were going to enforce noise ordinance."

3:39 p.m. -- Incident report taken on altercation in front of hotel.

9:50 p.m. -- One subject arrested on valid warrants after caller reported three male subjects pulled out mailbox stand.

9:50 p.m. -- Officers arrested one juvenile subject for disorderly conduct after caller reported they were walking in traffic and hitting passing cars.

11:24 p.m. -- Incident report taken after father filed pick-up order on two juvenile daughters that left home without permission.

May 31

2:33 a.m. -- Fight reported in parking lot. Verbal only.

3:48 a.m. -- Several subjects arrested after a loud party and fighting were reported.

10:52 a.m. -- Incident report taken on vandalism to mailbox.

5:14 p.m. -- Two subjects arrested in domestic disturbance incident.

5:34 p.m. -- Loud muffler citation issued to motorcycle driver that spooked horses.

8:12 p.m. -- Two subjects arrested in disturbance on Spring and Main.

8:49 p.m. -- Two vehicles towed after they were illegally parked and blocked traffic.

9:48 p.m. -- Male subject arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

11:09 p.m. -- Male subject arrested for minor in possession.

June 1

12:02 a.m. -- Subject arrested for disorderly conduct.

12:10 a.m. -- Two subjects arrested after altercation.

12:30 a.m. -- Two female subjects arrested for altercation.

12:58 a.m. -- One female arrested after officer requested group leave building for overcrowding.

2:43 a.m. -- Officers asked subjects to leave after they decided to camp in parking lot.

2:55 a.m. -- Party dispersed after loud party complaint was registered.

3:02 a.m. -- Two subjects arrested after they were found passed out in parking lot.

10:57 a.m. -- Subject arrested on outstanding Barry County warrant.

11:26 a.m. -- Incident report taken after storage units broken into.

June 2

7:05 a.m. -- Incident report taken on burglary to construction trailer.

3:23 p.m. -- Squad #4 and H.I. responded to a one-vehicle accident. Patient taken to ESH.

6:03 p.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a patient having difficulty breathing and was shaking.

May 24

8:04 p.m. -- Engine #1, Squad #3 responded to an electrical fire at restaurant.

May 25

6:43 a.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a female subject that had a vein break open and she could not get it to stop bleeding. Patient taken to ESH.

11:39 a.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a possible overdose. No pickup.

11:41 a.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a male subject complaining of chest pains.

10:29 p.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a female subject that had fallen in the bathtub and hit her head. No pickup.

May 26

9:57 a.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a young boy that had fallen. No pickup.

6:58 p.m. -- Squad #3 responded to an elderly female that was very lethargic. Son wanted her transported to CRMC.

May 27

10:11 a.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a female subject having difficulty breathing. Patient taken to ESH.

3:06 p.m. -- Engine #1 and Squad #3 responded to a gas leak after vehicle hit grocery store building.

May 28

11:36 a.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a male subject struck by vehicle. No pickup.

8 a.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a male subject having difficulty breathing. Patient taken to ESH.

1:38 p.m. -- H.I. and Squad #4 responded to a diabetic male with cardiac problems non-responsive, but breathing. Patient taken to area hospital.

8:47 p.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a female subject with a possible broken leg.

May 30

10:38 a.m. -- Squad #3 responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 23 South. No pickup.

7:21 p.m. -- Squad #2 responded to a two-car accident. Patient taken to ESH.

May 31

1:28 a.m. -- H.I. and Squad #4 responded to a male subject having difficulty breathing. Patient taken to NWMC.

12:37 p.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a female subject with possible broken rib.

10:46 p.m. -- Squad #4 responded to a motorcycle accident with injuries. Patient taken to ESH.

June 1

1:01 p.m. -- H.I. and Squad #4 responded to a male subject that had fallen and was unable to get up.

6:44 p.m. -- Squad #3 and H.I. responded to a female subject with possible broken foot. Patient taken to ESH.
