Gerald E. Spitze
GERALD E. SPITZE, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born January 12, 1933, in Berryville, a son of Wesley and Gracie (McLoud) Spitze. He died Friday, May 30, 2003, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 70.
Mr. Spitze formerly owned and operated Braswell Printing in Berryville. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was a veteran, having served our country during the Korean Conflict.
On April 28, 1979, he was united in marriage with Doris (Walton) Spitze who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his son, Mike Sptize of Green Forest, Arkansas; two daughters, Jan and her husband, Ray Eubanks of Monett, Missouri, and Loretta Tanner of the home; two brothers, Elmer and his wife, Bettie Spitze of Lincoln, Illinois, and Robert and his wife, Hazel Spitze of Chapin, Illinois; one sister, Dora and her husband Nolan McCall of Berryville; three grandchildren, Nicole Spitze of Berryville, Katie Eubanks and Chris Eubanks both of Monette; his aunt, Thelma Crow of Berryville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Gracie Spitze.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2003, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Pastor Larry Montgomery officiating. Interment will be in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
