She was born Jan. 25, 1925, at Austin, Minn., to Carlton and Lillian Cox Annable. She grew up in Des Moines and Sioux City, Iowa, where she graduated from Central High School in January of 1943. She also graduated from a business college, and she worked at Armor Packing Plant in Sioux City.
On April 19, 1947, she married Jack Kellogg at Sioux City. In 1969, the family moved to West Point, where she was an Avon representative.
Mrs. Kellogg was a member of Trinity Church, Afternoon Guild, St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary, West Point Civic Women's Club, and Trinity Quilters and Just A Stitch quilt clubs. She volunteered at St. Francis Memorial Hospital's outpatient desk and Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Kellogg and husband David Pettit of Eureka Springs, and Elizabeth Adams and husband Daniel of Omaha, Neb.; a son, Richard Kellogg and wife Deborah of Blair, Neb.; four grandsons, Andrew Adams, Brian Kellogg, Scott Kellogg, and Eric Kellogg; and four sisters, Carlene Tagstrom and husband Bert of Sioux City, Lois Bengston of Medford, Ore., Nancy Bailey of Des Moines, and Gail Froyen and husband Len of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kellogg, in 1996; her parents, Carlton and Lillian Annable; and a sister, Virginia Chambers.
