Shirley Holz, 60, of Holiday Island, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, in Fayetteville.
She was born April 8, 1942, in Elwood, Neb., daughter of John and Maxine (Dyer) Remmenga.
Mrs. Holz was a homemaker. She attended the Holiday Island Presbyterian Church.
On July 1, 1960, she married Fred Holz, who survives her. She is also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Cheryl Holz of Potter, Neb.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Rod Halstead of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren, Nicole, Josh, Taylor, Stephanie, and Jonathan; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Charlene Remmenga of Elwood, Neb.; a sister, Carol Stromeyer of Grand Island, Neb.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Memorial funeral services were held on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Holiday Island Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. David Duncan officiating. Arrangements were by Nelson Funeral Service.
