Clifford E. Clark

Clifford E. Clark, 68, of Berryville, died Monday, May 27, 2002, in Fayetteville.

He was born Oct. 17, 1933, in Berryville, son of Leslie and Sarah (Edwards) Clark.

Mr. Clark was a veteran, having served his country with the U.S. Air Force and the National Guard during the Korean conflict.

On Aug. 13, 1979, he married Pauline Lucille (Davis). She preceded him in death, as did his parents; and a brother, Oscar Clark.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Bartlow and husband John of Harrison; his son, Gary Barrett and wife Vicki of Derby, Kan.; three stepdaughters, Paulette Connor and husband Carroll of Berryville, Jerrie Brown and husband Roland of Berryville, and Twyla Villines and husband Allan of Green Forest; two stepsons, Jessie Andreski and wife Brenda of San Bernardino, Calif., and Stanley Andreski and wife Marilyn of Oak Grove; two brothers, George Clark of Gentry, and Roy Clark of San Angelo, Texas; a sister, Ruth Johnson of Berryville; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Friday, May 31, at the Nelson Chapel in Berryville, with the Rev. Chuck Hammond officiating. Interment followed in the Pension Mountain Cemetery, under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
