Thursday, May 2, 2002

John Wilson is a fan of Eureka Springs baseball, especially the team his son, Joseph, plays on. After watching foul ball after foul ball go sailing into the woods, Wilson acted.

Enter his employer, Midwestern Pipeline Services, who anteed up $500 for the team.

With the price of baseballs and the lack of an adequate backstop at Van Pelt Stadium, the gift was needed and greatly appreciated, according to Coach Don Martin.

John said Mike Harrison, CEO of the company, his wife, Chris, who is Vice President of Finance, and Mike Willhite, Vice President of Welding, were all involved in the donation.
