Beulah O. Kendall

Beulah O. Kendall, 95, of Gainesville, Ga., formerly of Berryville, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2002.

She was born Oct. 10, 1906, in Grandview, a daughter of Owen Owens and Sarah Alzira Fansler.

Mrs. Kendall was a resident of Carthage, Mo., from 1945 until 1996, when she moved to the Atlanta area. Previously living in Berryville before moving to Neosho, Mo., and then to Carthage, Mo., she was a teacher for many years.

On May 24, 1936, she married Robert S. Kendall. He preceded her in death, as did her four sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Eddie (Edith) Ann Benson of Clarksville, Ga., and Roberta Hanson of Boulder, Colo.; a brother, Glen Owens of Reno, Nev.; and a grandson.

Family visitation was set for 6 to 7 p.m. today. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, with Steve House, Minister, officiating. Interment services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Grandview Cemetery.
