Grand Champion Booth (Local News ~ 09/20/19)
The Mercy Hospital Berryville Auxiliary Booth was named Grand Champion at the 2019 Carroll County Fair that concluded Aug. 31 in Berryville. Pictured are parliamentarian Mary Jo Vallie and thrift store manager Juanita Baker of the committee that provided the winning education booth. The display is being shown at the Northwest Arkansas District Fair, which opened Sunday and continues through Sunday, Sept. 22, in Harrison. Other Auxiliary members who worked on the booth were membership chair Pat Armer and DVS Deana Davidson. -
Constitution Week (Local News ~ 09/20/19)
Eureka Springs Mayor Butch Berry signed a proclamation on Friday, Sept. 13, designating Constitution Week that occurs each year from Sept.17-23, commemorating the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. The local Abendschone Chapter of the NSDAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) has displays in the local middle school libraries offering information on the Constitution, Bill of Rights and other associated documents. Grants available for volunteer fire departments

Previous teaching experience is not a requirement, but the ability to speak clearly, leadership, management and social skills are beneficial.
