Jim grew up near Yellowstone park, where he became an avid outdoors man, Eagle Scout and rock collector. He joined the US Air Force, served for over 22 years, four tours in Vietnam, he was the guy dropped behind ‘enemy lines’ to rescue downed pilots. His heroic actions earned two purple hearts. Cash (No. C19-0038) is a male Catahoula mix, approximately 11 months old. This boy is stunning. He’s also known as a leopard dog for the unusual markings on his coat. He is an active dog that loves to play in water. He especially enjoys his kiddie pool on a hot day. He is neutered and has his shots. He’s available for adoption at the Good Shepherd Animal Shelter on Highway 62 east of Eureka Springs. The shelter is open from noon to 5 p.m. every day but Tuesday and Wednesday.
