Campus expansion (Local News ~ 06/11/19)
Submitted photo The Eureka Springs School of the Arts recently broke ground for a campus expansion project to build housing for visiting instructors in art and fine craft. The new housing, supported by a grant from the Windgate Foundation, has been designed by Fayetteville architect David McKee to flow with the existing buildings on campus and maximize enjoyment of the natural environment. ESSA’s 50-plus-acre campus and seven teaching studios serve as a regional and national asset to the art and fine craft community. In addition to a pool of talented and renowned local and regional instructors, nearly half of ESSA’s instructors travel from out of state to share their skills and talent, with instructors visiting from 18 states in 2018-2019. -
