Repairs underway after ES tunnel collapses on Main Street (Local News ~ 06/12/18)
A popular parking lot in downtown Eureka Springs is temporarily out of commission after a tunnel collapsed earlier this month. John Cross, who owns the parking lot, said he heard about the collapse at 5:15 p.m. Friday, June 1. When it first appeared, Cross said, the hole was about the size of a washtub. Ice Cream Social: Turnout is high for 33rd annual event (Local News ~ 06/12/18)
The 33rd Annual Ice Cream Social and Craft Fair brought about 3,000 people to the Berryville Square this weekend. Steve Johnson, interim executive director of the Berryville Chamber of Commerce, said attendance for the event was strong this year. “I think the estimate was we probably had about 1,000 people out there Friday and probably 2,000 people Saturday,” he said. “A lot of people and families came and went.
