The Berryville junior high team had a great start to the 2017 season, beating Decatur 42-0 on Thursday night at Ronnie Clark Field. The Bobcats led 35-0 at halftime. Thursday's 25-22, 25-10, 25-8 victory at Eureka Springs was a good way for the Green Forest Lady Tigers to close out a busy week. Coach Trista Killingsworth said after a slow first set, the Lady Tigers zoned in and played well. The Berryville Bobcats and first year coach Doug Shott could not have asked for a better start to the season, as the Bobcats got a 61-0 win at Decatur on Friday night. The Huntsville Eagles defeated the Green Forest junior high team 22-20, on Thursday night at Huntsville, but coach Ryan Whetham is extremely proud of the effort his team showed. ECHO project aims to create affordable housing

Eureka Christian Health Organization is all about supporting Carroll County residents in need. ECHO co-founders Dan and Suzie Bell reported last week that they are working on creating the ECHO Village, a project meant to meet the community’s need for affordable housing. Dan Bell said ECHO recently purchased almost 10 acres on Passion Play Road to get the project started.
