Moving forward: GF council vacates part of street for Tyson expansion

The Green Forest City Council on Tuesday passed an ordinance vacating a portion of Tyson Drive to allow for Tyson Foods' new plant. Mayor Charles Reece introduced the ordinance to the council, saying Tyson had requested to have controlled access to its facility on Tyson Drive, The company plans to install a gate. To make this possible, Reece said, the city would have to vacate a portion of the street and give control of the vacated area to Tyson...

The season of fresh sweet corn and local tomatoes is upon us, and nothing signifies it as much as the roadside seller with freshly picked corn and wonderful vine-ripened tomatoes. Two apply for vacant Eureka Springs council seat
