Behind bars: Detention officer arrested, accused of bringing in contraband (Local News ~ 10/20/15)
A Carroll County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) detention officer was arrested last week after allegedly introducing prohibited contraband into the detention center. The Carroll County Detention Center intake log notes that 44-year-old Irving Gerald Earles of Berryville was charged with two counts of furnishing prohibited articles on Thursday, Oct. 15. Things didn't go well for the Green Forest junior high football team on Thursday evening, as the Tigers lost 32-14 at the hands of Mountain View.
