Zumba fundraiser to benefit BV police chief

A Zumba Fitness event to raise funds for Berryville Police Chief David Muniz will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 10 at the Berryville Community Center. Muniz is undergoing expensive treatment for cancer. Admission is by donation, with a suggested donation of $10. The event will feature two fun-filled hours of dancing. Eureka Springs board approves search for interim superintendent

The Eureka Springs School Board agreed to search for an interim superintendent at a special called meeting Monday night. Unlike a full-time superintendent, an interim superintendent would have a shorter year-long contract. Green Forest board approves property purchase

The Green Forest School district is getting a little bigger. At a special called meeting Tuesday, the Green Forest School Board agreed to allow Superintendent Matt Summers to begin the bidding process on an older home in the area. Summers said that if the district is able to buy the home, the plan is to level it, allowing the district to use the land for future expansion...
