LITTLE ROCK -- Downtown Berryville will be among the historic locations included in the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program's "Walks Through History" tours during 2015, AHPP Director Frances McSwain announced Monday. Terminated: CCSO investigator fired after weekend arrest

A Carroll County Sheriff's Office Investigator was fired Monday after being arrested Saturday. Sheriff Bob Grudek said Monday that investigator Joel Hand was "terminated today." Hand was booked into the Carroll County Detention Center on Saturday. The jail intake log indicates Hand was booked on probable cause of domestic battery in the third degree.
