JPs adopt new county code book

The Carroll County Quorum Court worked quickly through a light agenda Friday morning. The county took a major step with the adoption of a new code book, but the justices of the peace required little discussion before approving this ordinance. This final step completed a process that enlisted the help of the Association of Arkansas Counties to eliminate obsolete ordinances and assemble the remaining ordinances into a standardized format.
