Was your Mom a good cook? Are you? It doesn't seem so important these days to be able to cook. Between fast-food places and pre-packaged meals, it's possible to get by without knowing the first thing about how to make a pot-roast or chicken soup. But if you have a big family and money is tight, it's still more economical to make meals from scratch, especially if you have room for a garden and a few chickens...
Only one Holiday Island lot sells at tax delinquent land auction

EUREKA SPRINGS -- It was a short meeting with only a few bidders at the State Commissioner of Lands delinquent tax property auction Thursday. Of the 700-plus lots up for sale, all but a handful were in Holiday Island. Of those, only one sold, a vacant lot on Blackfoot Drive. Guy Razer of Holiday Island bought it and another 10.15-acre property in Eureka Springs...
