Wildfire burns 200 acres in southern Carroll County (Local News ~ 07/04/12)
OSAGE -- A raging wildfire that started early Wednesday afternoon near U.S. Highway 412 in eastern Carroll County is 70 percent contained as of 7 a.m. Thursday, said Arkansas Forestry Service ranger Darrell Bohannon. As of this morning, Bohannon said the fire had moved in the bluffy areas surrounding the more than 200 acres scorched since 1 p.m. yesterday.
