LITTLE ROCK -- A weakening La Niņa may bring heavy rain and the threat of flash floods to parts of Arkansas this spring, while the potential for widespread flooding remains average, the National Weather Service said Thursday, March 8. Clear Spring School hosted its annual Spring Fling Auction at the illustrious Castle Rouges Manor on Saturday evening. There were more than 260 unique items up for the silent and live auctions, with proceeds going back into the school's coffers. -

The Green Forest Lady Tigers fought the Greenland Lady Pirates to a 31-31 draw at the end of regulation and pushed them into an overtime period before losing the 3A girls championship game 43-35 at the Summit Arena in Hot Springs Saturday night. The Green Forest 3rd and 4th grade Quiz Bowl Team traveled to North Arkansas College on Jan. 5 to compete in the Regional Quiz Bowl Competition sponsored by OUR Educational Cooperative.
