EUREKA SPRINGS --Randy Ray Wells of Eureka Springs was terminated from his job as a police dispatcher last week for the alleged rape of a juvenile girl. Wells, 56, served on the Eureka Springs Board of Education from 2006 to 2009. According to Eureka Springs Police Chief Earl Hyatt, Wells was employed with his department as a night shift dispatcher for two years before he was terminated June 9 when authorities received word through the "hot line" that Wells was accused of sexually abusing a girl over a two-year time period.. ...
