CARROLL COUNTY -- The Carroll County Airport Commission chose Mary Nelson on Thursday to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of commissioner Jim Simmons. The selection must still be approved by the quorum court. Nelson submitted a resume which included an extensive record of volunteer service.
