An ordinance approving up to $40,000 for repairs to Black Bass Lake dam was approved by the Eureka Springs City Council during a special session last Tuesday. A young woman and her six-year-old daughter were killed "instantly" last Friday in a single-vehicle accident that also seriously injured two of the woman's other children.
